When it comes to solving problems in macro or repro photography, many photographers immediately think of the name NOVOFLEX. And rightly so, because the MS-MACRO-REPRO is another highlight in this demanding field.

The MS-MACRO-REPRO is a small, variable repro stand and slide - in short: a mobile macro recording studio. And as you would expect from NOVOFLEX, it can also be used in various configurations, for example to put small things in the limelight, to make reproductions or to digitise slides and film strips up to 6x6.

The mobile macro, repro recording studio consists of the following components:

• Column with sliding piece and mounted Q=MOUNT coupling
• Mini tripod leg
• U-shaped document holder/object holder with inserted white frosted glass plate

The column length of the repro stand is dimensioned so that an A4 original can be duplicated with a KB full-format camera and a 50mm lens.

The two lateral legs of the original holder can be positioned (moved) via the rear tilt levers if, for example, the optionally available MS-FILMCOP slide and filmstrip holder or the MS30 hollow throat are to be used. For the MS-FILMCOP film holder there are interchangeable inserts for mounted KB slides, KB film strips as well as 4.5x6 and 6x6 film holders.

For reproducing flat originals, the neutral grey magnetic plate MS-REPLA can be used as an alternative to the frosted glass plate. It is equipped with a grid that facilitates the positioning of the originals. The magnetic plate also includes two magnetic strips with a measuring scale, which can be used to align or fix rolled or curled originals flat. The lateral legs of the original holder also have measuring scales so that reproducible results can be easily achieved.

Both legs of the original holder and the corner connectors have threads into which, for example, the flexible MS-LIGHTS arms from NOVOFLEX can be screwed. This enables sufficient, even illumination even with low light.

The MS-MACRO-REPRO can be used both in an upright and in a lying position. The conversion is done in just a few steps. In this position and in combination with the frosted glass plate and the attached fillet, the repro stand is ideal for macro photography and focus stacking. In addition, smaller objects can also be photographed to infinity in the lying position, for example to use the natural background at an open window or outdoors.

The repro stand fits perfectly with the NOVOFLEX tripod range as well as all products with Arca-compatible connections and can be optimally adapted to individual needs or tasks.
