The extremely powerful and power-saving home water supply 5600 SilentComfort from GARDENA is equipped with innovative functions. It allows the use of favorable rain or well water for watering the garden or as industrial water in the household, for instance, for toilets. The water from wells, cisterns or rain barrels is pumped at a delivery height of 47 m (4.7 bar) to the place of installation. The flow rate is 5600 liters per hour with a moderate power consumption of only 900 watts. Water can suck it from a depth of up to 8 meters. The domestic water supply switches on automatically according to the water requirement and then switches it off again. As it can operate from the large storage tank of 25 l, it works extremely quietly and economically. With a sound pressure of just 75 dB(A) at a distance of 5 m, the house-waterworks SilentComfort developed in Germany works extremely softly.

This is made possible thanks to the innovative, water-cooled multi-stage technology. With this technology, no fan is required since waste heat is discharged via the water. This ensures highest efficiency and lowest noise levels. All the functions of the pressure pump, such as starting or stopping, can optionally be operated via the screen of a smartphone or tablet, thanks to Bluetooth. Thus, it is possible to create an watering schedule even while traveling, or the separately available soil moisture sensor (article no. 1867-20) is controlled for optimum water supply and water-saving irrigation during pre-programmed schedules. It is also possible to use a timer, monitor the print stock or adjust the on and off pressures to suit individual requirements. With the exception of creating an irrigation plan, the functions are operated alternatively with the buttons on the LCD monitor of the domestic water supply. A high-performance membrane is installed in the 25-liter water tank, so that there is no need to refill air or replace the membrane for at least 5 years.

The inner shell of the tank consists of a waterproof, multi-layered lining, which protects the casing against corrosion. The integrated coupling between the pump and the tank is made of stainless steel. Thus it is particularly durable and well protected and makes possible compact installation dimensions. For a long service life, a ceramic sealing system with double sealing, the dry run and overheating protection (water and motor), the optional drip water detection as well as the integrated filter are provided. This prevents dirt particles from penetrating the energy-saving pump or application devices. If desired, the pump reminds of cleaning of the filter and helps in the APP with the first startup with a step-by-step instructions in 28 selectable languages. In addition, the pressure is shown in the APP and on the display on the housing.
