Over-slip mechanism prevents the application of excessive torques
The SafeTorque A 1 torque spanner is equipped with an over-slip mechanism. Once the set torque value has been reached, the tool cannot be overtightened, thus preventing the application of excessive torque.

Torque Lock Function
The torque function can be switched off. The SafeTorque torque spanner can then also be used as a standard ratchet with high loosening torques and for defined rotation angle applications.

For right-hand and left-hand tightening
The SafeTorque torque spanner is suitable for right-hand and left-hand tightening with set torque. When the Torque Lock function is switched off, tightening and loosening takes place without torque.

Easy setting of the torque value
Easy setting and locking of the desired torque value with audible and tactile engagement when the scale values are reached.

Low backswing angle
The 72-tooth SafeTorque torque spanner has a low swingback angle of only 5°. The small stroke enables fast and precise work in all installation positions.

For 1/4" sockets
The Safe-Torque torque spanner A 1 has a 1/4" square drive and is suitable for 1/4" sockets.

Space for additional tools
Wera Belts can be attached to the Velcro strip in the textile box of the Safe-Torque A 1 Set 1 and Safe-Torque A 1 Imperial Set 1. This allows additional nuts and/or bit nuts to be stored and taken along.
