The Ermenrich Ping ES20 Wall Pipe Blockage Detector is designed to locate blockages in metallic and non-metallic pipes made of steel, copper, iron, PVC, plastic or cement. It is a great device for checking the condition of water and sewage pipes, both for professional and private use.

The device consists of a transmitter (remote sensor) and a receiver. The sensor on a 20 meter long cable is inserted into the pipe and moved in it until it stops due to the blockage in the pipe. Then run the receiver along the tube - the device then emits a beep near the blockage and starts flashing. The closer the receiver gets to the sensor, the stronger the signal and the louder the beep.

The sensor corresponds to protection class IP67 and is therefore suitable for short-term immersion in water when inspecting pipes. It comes with an accessory kit that allows you to repair the sensor if it has been damaged in the pipe. The maximum range of the receiver is 150 mm for metal pipes and 400 mm for non-metal pipes. There is an option to adjust the sensitivity, both the receiver and the transmitter are powered by rechargeable batteries. The sensor works up to 10 hours with a single charge, the receiver up to 4 hours.
