Recording in DSS and MP3 Formats
The DSS format was developed for use in digital recording devices because it allows a high compression rate with little loss of quality. The DSS format also allows additional information to be stored in the file header, which simplifies file organization and the transcription of dictation files. The MP3 format is the most common audio format for storing audio files and is used as the standard encoding for transmission and playback of recordings on digital audio devices.

Classic Mode
