The 140 mm hydraulic fan with intelligent speed control enables excellent cooling performance and virtually silent operation. The Smart Zero Fan ensures that the fan only runs when the load exceeds 30% of the power supply, minimising fan noise.

With strict voltage regulation as Intel's standard ±5% for the mains and ±10% for -12V, the voltage regulation is set to no more than ±2% for the range to achieve the highest performance. The fully modular low-profile flat cable offers the user a wide choice of cables and provides the system with a favourable voltage. The cable facilitates cable management, reduces clutter and improves airflow in the enclosure.

Various protection functions are available such as short circuit (SCP), current peaks (OCP), overvoltage (OVP), undervoltage (UVP), overheating (OTP) and overload (OPP).
