The Levenhuk DTX 350 LCD digital microscope was developed for applied research. It can be used as a digital magnifying glass for observation of volume objects (coins, seeds, insects) and of course as a microscope for studying non-transparent samples. The Levenhuk DTX 350 LCD is easy to operate, is perfect for professional studies and professional use, and can of course also be used for hobby purposes.

The magnification is done with the support of an integrated digital camera. A software controls the image quality. The sample is fixed on the object stage with clamps and illuminated from above with eight bright LEDs. The enlarged image is displayed on the integrated screen. In addition, the image can also be displayed on any external screen - for example, a computer monitor, notebook screen, or projector. The lighting can be regulated and, of course, the picture sharpness can also be adjusted separately.

You can save the results of your observations as photos or videos. The recordings are stored on a memory card. Another important feature is a suitable image processing program. After installing this programme on your computer, you can use additional options - such as brightness and contrast adjustment, image descriptions and measurements of angle and linear sample sizes.

A huge advantage of this microscope is that there is no need to have a power socket nearby. An integrated battery provides up to 7 hours of continuous operation. If required, the microscope can also be supplied with power via a USB port (for example a computer). Mains operation of the microscope is also possible.
